BACK TO SCHOOL! High School Cadets March

Each year Beloit College puts out a Mindset List, a collection of facts intended to give faculty a healthy dose of generation-based perspective. The stats are a bit unnerving: Recent High School Grads were most likely born in or around 1990 and  live in a world where GPS has always been available. They’ve probably never actually “rolled down” a  car window, and the Soviet Union has never existed. From a literary standpoint: if he’d flunked out of Hogwarts, Harry Potter could be one of their classmates.
