Rematriated Voices Logo

Grounded in Haudenosaunee teachings, Rematriated Voices is one-of-a-kind five-part talk show, available in both video and audio, that uplifts the voices of pre-eminent Indigenous thought leaders, traditional leadership, authors, activists and allies. This podcast version expands on the video and radio productions with additional engaging content. Each episode highlights how Haudenosaunee principles, rooted in matrilineal culture, ecological balance, and collective responsibility, offer powerful frameworks for addressing issues such as democracy, land justice, food sovereignty, and the societal obligations to future generations.

Rematriated Voices is hosted by Michelle Schenandoah and is a collaboration between Rematriation, a non-profit organization led by Haudenosaunee women, and Access Audio from the Special Collections Research Center at the Syracuse University Libraries. Many thanks to the crew from the Orange Television Network as well as each and every person listed below.
